Residents will still be able to use Windsor Library and Maidenhead Library for resident services and Maidenhead Town Hall for business services, in addition to the York House, as we continue to aim to give more access to our high quality services.
Councillor Samantha Rayner, lead member for culture, communities and Windsor, said: “I am delighted to announce that the stunning York House is now fully open for residents to access services that matter most to them.
“The residents’ hub will provide our residents with an additional place to seek face to face support with our highly trained resident advisors.”
York House will also provide formal meeting spaces for council events, including the Grey rooms, dedicated to the late Cllr Jesse Grey, who died before the refurbishment was complete.
The Grey rooms will be used to host Full Council and Cabinet meetings as well as development management panels and some overview and scrutiny panels alongside the Windsor Guildhall and Maidenhead Town Hall.
York House will be open to residents from 9am until 5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10am until 5pm on Wednesdays. Residents will also be able to access services at Windsor Library and Maidenhead library giving access to our services seven days a week.
On-street parking can be found nearby and the closest car park is Victoria Street. York Road has three disabled parking bays for disabled customer use.
