Flood Alert News
«

The river levels have fallen and the Environment Agency has cancelled the Flood Alert for the River Thames from Hurley to Cookham.
Unfortunately, upstream of our area there has been property flooding. The Environment Agency have done a great job working throughout the Christmas to regulate and clear watercourses, provide advice and information, and survey water flows - including a visit to Berries Road. This has been fed through to the Cookham Parish Council Flood Committee via the Joint (West Berks/RBWM/Bracknell) Emergency Planning Unit.
This will be the last Flood News of this episode, but as ever you can keep up to date with all the latest river levels, flood warnings and other flood information at the Cookham Flood Warnings blogspot cookhamfloodwarnings.blogspot.com/
Happy New Year!
Carol Long and Fiona Hewer
Cookham Parish Council Flood Committee
