You may have seen that we are on the second Flood Alert of the season.

The River Thames has risen to 43cm this afternoon, and is expected to continue to rise.  You can follow the river levels, and find other flood information including EA and Thames Water telephone numbers at http://cookhamfloodwarnings.blogspot.com/

Although there is more rain this afternoon, and showers are forecast tomorrow, the weekend forecast is dry.  We expect the river to continue rising, but we do not expect the Moor Road to flood.

Unless anything changes significantly, we won't send more news until Monday.

If you notice any flood footpaths, fields or other areas while you are out and about, it would be helpful to know. Please email this address. cookhamflood@gmail.com

Best regards,
Fiona Hewer and Carol Long
Cookham Parish Council Flood Committee
