Car Rear Window Smashed

I parked my car in Sutton Lane Cookham near the public car park on Saturday night while my family celebrated my granddaughter’s 18th birthday. When I returned to my car at 9 pm the rear window had been smashed and my handbag stolen from the boot. The car is a black BMW estate and was parked there between 18.40 and 21.00. This has caused me so much trouble, the car cannot be driven due to no back window, all my credit and debit cards as well as money were in the back, as well as glasses and other incidentals. I believe someone must have seen my husband putting the bag in the boot as no other cars were touched. If anyone saw anything please can you contact me. Warning to myself and others, do not leave valuables in the car, even the boot!

I have reported this information to the police.
