I like many of you, am isolated and working from home. Every Thursday at 8 p.m., everyone in my road goes out to support and thank our front line workers and NHS staff. We now also meet on Saturday mornings at 11 a.m., having tea on our doorsteps and catching up.
I only go out once every day for exercise. On Saturday after walking in the Great Park, I walked back to the town via Grove Road. At 6 p.m. everyone in the top half of the road was out, chatting to each other, over a glass of wine. From their conversations, this was the first time, some of them had met ! At 7.30 p.m., it was the bottom half of the road that was out, all doing the same. Our Community Spirit, is definitely returning !

Several report young people leaving their homes – 'for exercise’ - and meeting friends. All parents need to know where their young people are going and who they may be meeting. If they meet friends from other households, they may bring the virus back with them. The Resrtictions were put in place to protect us.
Talking about the Restrictions in place to protect us – I was ‘face timing’ family members in Devon this morning. Apparently loads of cars were stopped over the weekend on the M5, with visitors driving there for the weekend ! They were of course, immediately sent back by Devon & Cornwall Police. One, was a young man on a motorbike, from Maidenhead – who said he was going to Devon to do some fishing !!

Boxes of empty beers and litter were left all over the place.
This keeps happening around here. Groups of teenagers – in total disrespect of Lockdown restrictions, are meeting up, drinking alcohol, smoking drugs and leaving litter everywhere. Please can you mention it on one of your emails ?

With pleasure. These young people are putting themselves, their families and parents at risk. If you believe your child may be participating – can you have please have a word with them ? You need to know where they are and who they are with at all times, to protect them and your family.

The Driven Forward Charity is now alleviating some of the pressure off The Windsor Homeless project.
The Charity will be providing hot meals, Monday to Sunday as well as packed lunches and food packages .
Please could you also let everyone know that the Community Hub opened March 30th and we are open Monday to Friday. At the weekends we will be busy providing food for 12 vulnerable adults .
Emergency services, Police and RBWM key workers do not have to pay to get hot drinks or food, but a donation towards the food provided, would be really appreciated.
It's situated in Alexandra Car Park, Windsor, where there is plenty of space for social distancing. It is in a secure compound and the food is served from a serving hatch.
This is plenty of space for the police, who are on duty and other front line services, to be able to stop by for a break, grab a hot drink, food to take away - ie hot dogs, and toasted sandwiches.

I want to notify you that an Audi, was stolen from White Waltham last night, using a laptop to override the computer ignition !
The owners have CCTV footage and one of the culprits are clearly visible. What can be done ?

Many thanks Linda. The owners of the car should report the theft immediately, on the 101 number, mentioning that they Have CCTV footage of the incident. As I hope everyone is aware, despite the pandemic, we are still dealing with crime and will act on crime reports !!

As I have told you before a fake ‘Norton’ site is telling me that my computer is at risk and trying to sell me ‘Norton’ software. ‘Click’ to find out more’?
Looks genuine. They are very persistent and the messages are difficult to kill off. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM.
My McAfee tells me my computer is virus free. I know you have put this out before – thank you. In view of the persistence people need to be reminded not to click.
