Since the beginning of the lock down, members of our local community have reported an increase in the number of spam messages they have been receiving.
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) says that people are more likely to fall victim to fraud or cyber offences, above any other crime. The reality is, everyone will be a victim of some sort of cybercrime throughout their lifetime.
However, you can minimise the risks of becoming a cyber victim through increasing your awareness of cyber crime and following simple steps to protect yourself online.
