There has been one new death at a trust operating in Berkshire as of Monday (June 1) afternoon, and just one new coronavirus case reported in the county.

The death, at the Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust, takes the county's total across its trusts to 534 deaths.

The news comes as another 111 people have died in all settings in the UK, taking the total deaths to 39,045.

The total number of positive cases on Monday across the county is 2,413 - with just one case in 24 hours, in Slough.

As of 9am on Monday, there have been 4.48 million tests, with 128,437 tests on Sunday (May 31).

As of today, Reading still has the highest number of cases in Berkshire, with 586 patients testing positive.

Slough is in second place with 454 cases - an increase of one.

In other parts of the county, 379 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in West Berkshire, 446 in Wokingham, 292 in Windsor and Maidenhead, and 256 in Bracknell.
