There have been no new coronavirus deaths reported in Berkshire according to NHS England figures released today (June 27).

No new cases have been confirmed in the past 24 hours in the county - but one area recorded a fall in cases.

UK-wide deaths related to Covid-19 now stand at 43,514, up 100 in 24 hours.

There have been 310,250 confirmed cases across the country, an increase of 890 positive patients in the last 24 hours.

Data released each day represents the number of deaths recorded in this time period, not those that have actually happened in that time.

Cases in the county where people have tested positive for coronavirus stand at 2,478.

Reading still has the highest number of cases in Berkshire, with 595 patients testing positive.

This figure has fallen by one compared to yesterday's figures, which is usually explained by reporting errors on the government site.

Slough has 465 positive cases, while Bracknell 's figure stands at 263 - both unchanged.

West Berkshire's cases have also remained the same at 385, while Wokingham's stay at 458.

To date, 312 people have tested positive in Windsor and Maidenhead.

No new deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours, with the last recorded death in Berkshire announced on June 20.

A breakdown of figures for each trust is below:

The latest figures in Berkshire

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust – 360
Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust – 186
Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust - 20
It is important to note that Frimley Health runs sites outside of Berkshire, for example Frimley Hospital in Surrey, so it is hard to get an accurate figure for the exact amount of deaths in Berkshire alone.
