Cookham friends, we need your help!
This weekend should have been the 14th Annual Gravity Grand Prix - a Cookham institution that we all love and take great pride in organising. Of course, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s event had to be cancelled for everyone’s safety. This incredible family fun day has always been a free event, and thanks to your generosity, and that of the local businesses who provide food, drink, ice cream and entertainment, the GGP regularly raised over £10,000 for local good causes.
The main benefactor of the GGP's charity funds is the Thames Valley Air Ambulance - a precious service which relies on donations. So even though this year’s race cannot go ahead, we would love you to help us reach our target of £2,500 for the air ambulance.
Please show your support, if you can, with a small donation and by sharing this post. Just imagine, if everyone who attended last year's event donated just the cost of a hot dog, we could still raise many thousands of pounds for this great cause!!
