Browsing at Maidenhead Library and Windsor Library

From today you will be able to come into Maidenhead Library and Windsor Library to browse the shelves to choose something to read and borrow books for yourself using our self service kiosks.

The library will be open for the following times:

Maidenhead Library
Monday 10am - 5pm
Tuesday 10am - 5pm
Wednesday 10am - 5pm
Thursday 3.30pm - 7pm
Friday 10am - 5pm
Saturday 10am - 2pm

Windsor Library
Monday 10am - 5pm
Tuesday 3.30pm - 7pm
Wednesday 10am - 5pm
Thursday 10am - 5pm
Friday 10am - 5pm
Saturday 10am - 2pm

Please be aware that these are temporary opening hours and will be adjusted according to demand. We will notify you in advance if any changes are made.

You can continue to reserve items on our library catalogue in advance, and collect them from Maidenhead or Windsor libraries when you are notified.

You can also continue to use Click and Deliver to pick up your reservations from 13 locations across the borough, you will be notified when to visit your pick up location.

As per government guidelines, you will need to wear a face covering while you are in our libraries and sanitise your hands on entering. You will also need to check in using the NHS COVID-19 app when you enter the building, or provide contact details if you don't have the app.
