A VERY GOOD 48 HOURS

NO BURGLARIES

AND

NO CARS BROKEN INTO

FIRST:  You will have received a Thames Valley Alert warning about the Vaccination scams.  Many of you have reported these to me – so there are thousands of these out there.

I understand the process is that you will receive a letter from the NHW followed by a text from your doctors surgery asking you to make an appointment for vaccination.  AT NO TIME WILL YOU BE ASKED FOR YOUR BANK DETAILS !!!

BE ON YOUR GUARD.

NEXT:  WITH REGARD TO THE CALL BLOCKER PHONES AND SIMON’S UPDATE:

Hello Jeff,

The phone we have, is the standard ‘Call Blocker’ phone, supplied by the biggest brand name telephonic supplier.  The price is £70 for a pair.

We have had it over 3 years.

It stops all calls.  Anyone calling has to say their name and then, if they do so, it continues the call and you can decide to answer.

Most of the spam calls are automatically generated, calling multiple people simultaneously.  An actual human spammer, only speaks, when someone actually answers and all the other calls are discontinued, to be redialled in a later batch – hence silent calls.  So it totally stops ‘Robocalls’.

Once this phone clicks in and says, ‘this phone is protected by call guardian’ the spammer’s call ends.

Good luck to everyone,

Simon

Many thanks Simon, this is really useful.
