We anticipate this will be the last update regarding flooding within the borough for the time being.

However, we are still in the winter season and we will continue to monitor river levels and the weather.

Cookham
The B4447 The Pound between School Lane and Terry’s Lane is due to be re-opened later today after some minor repairs are carried out ensuring the integrity of the stretch of road that has been underwater. It will be also be swept and gritted, before being opened to traffic.
The A4094 from Bourne End into Ferry Lane is now open.
Water levels are stabilising. The Environment Agency will continue to monitor the rivers and surrounding tributaries.

General overview
·         Ray Mill Island is currently closed due to flooding and high river levels surrounding the island.
·         Continue to liaise with flood wardens in each of those areas and they are also supporting their communities.
·         Jubilee River continues to be in operation and all weirs are open down the Thames to allow water to keep moving on and manage the levels within the Thames.
