I have circulated the Which video on YouTube several times, showing how car thieves use the ‘Relay’ device, to boost the signal from inside the house, fooling the car to open and start in a matter of seconds.
Keyless fobs, MUST be kept as far as possible from the pavement / public access to the home. Keep them in a ‘Faraday’ Cage – or if you don’t have one – the fridge !

14/9 - 15/9 Tuesday 9 p.m. / Wednesday 7 a.m. New Road. Dark Grey Range Rover Velare index RE ** TWC stolen from outside a house. The car has full GPS tracking, but it appears to have disappeared. Ref. No; 43210415197 These cars have full GPS tracking. It is almost impossible to de-activate it. More likely, it has been driven into the back of the lorry or a container, which prevents the GPS signal from escaping. These cars are stolen to order. Please make sure you keep your fob more than 30 feet from the pavement external access and inside a Faraday Cage container. I have circulated the Which video of thieves using a ‘Relay’ device. 15/9 Wednesday 2 a.m. New Road. Black Jaguar Pacer R Sport index J * UME stolen from outside a house. This was captured on a video doorbell. The video shows a car being driven slowly past the road a few times, looks like a couple of people got out the car, did something behind the camera. One got in the back of the car the other in the front, then drive off. Ref. No; 43210415234 Again a relay device must have been used to boost the signal from the key fob inside the house.

This round is targeting and supporting groups who provide and deliver practical financial life skills to those particularly going through a life changing transition. Projects must focus on building financial capability skills assisting groups who support bereavement, redundancy, retirement, relationship breakdown, homelessness, offenders, and resettlement.
