From RBWM
You might have seen in the news that the Government has recently announced a sum of money, the Household Support Fund, to help councils assist vulnerable households to cover essential costs over the coming months. We’re currently considering the national guidance for use of this funding and how best to allocate the Royal Borough’s share in order to best assist those who meet the criteria with the costs of food, energy, other household bills and, in exceptional circumstances, rent. At least 50% of the funding must be used to help those facing financial hardship who have children. Further details will be announced in the coming weeks.
