Don't forget, if you fancy some carols on Christmas Day to get your evening festivities off to a special start, there's only one place to be: that's with us at Holy Trinity Church at 6.30pm. We are the only church in the country to hold our Carol Service on Christmas Day.
The tradition began in 1955 when Christmas Day fell on a Sunday and the then vicar decided that the carol service might as well be on that day (rather than in the week following).
People over the years have often thought it a daft idea, but it's continued ever since nonetheless. We are pleased to be supporting the charity MIND this year through our retiring collection.
The service begins at 6.30pm, with readings, prayers, carols for all to sing and carols sung by our Girls' Choir, Boys' Choir & Men's
