From tomorrow Tuesday 1st February, the Maidenhead Heritage Centre will be open their normal days of Tuesday to Saturdays, 10am-4pm. And there is a special exhibition to mark the 75th anniversary of the great floods of 1947. The exhibition includes a large number of contemporary photos, personal memories and press cuttings. If anyone has personal or family memories of the 1947 or any other subsequent floods they are invited to contact the Heritage Centre and share them for posterity.
Meanwhile, if you have family visiting at half term and are looking for entertainment for them, why not bring them to fly the super Spitfire simulator!
