Drivers will not be able to join the M4 near Slough for an entire weekend. Smart motorway works mean the entry slip roads at junction 7 will be closed.
The closure at the Slough West junction begins from 8pm on Friday, June 24. The M4 eastbound and westbound entry slip roads will be shut until 6am on Monday, June 27.
Drivers will be diverted via the local Highways Network to join the motorway at junction 6 Slough or junction 8/9 at Maidenhead. Those travelling are urged to leave more time for their journeys and local roads may be affected by the closure.
The westbound entry slip road at junction 5 for Langley will also be closed overnight on Friday. The closure will begin at 8pm and the road is due to reopen by 6am on Saturday.
There will also be overnight eastbound carriageway closures. The first of these will be on Friday, June 24 between the exit slip roads at junction 3 for Hayes. The small stretch of road will close from 11pm and is due to reopen by 6am on Saturday, June 25.
Drivers will be diverted off the motorway and then back on. The westbound carriageway will remain open throughout.
The eastbound carriageway will close overnight again on Sunday, June 26 between junction 5 for Langley and junction 4B for the M25. The closure will begin at 10.30pm and the road is expected to open by 5.30am on Monday, June 27.
A signed diversion will be in place via the local road network. Passengers travelling to Heathrow Airport are urged to leave more time for their journeys. The westbound carriageway will remain open.
