No pub chains have announced closures this Monday. Most are likely to stay open whilst the funeral goes ahead so that local communities can congregate and watch the funeral together on TV.
For local, independent pubs, it will be up to the landlords as to whether they open. The Retreat in Reading has already announced that it will be broadcasting the funeral. The pub based on St. Johns Road will be showcasing the funeral on its big screen and will remain open from 10:30am to 5pm.
Council facilities, dumps and recycling centres
Charters Leisure Centre, Cox Green Leisure Centre, and Furze Platt Leisure Centre will all be closed on Monday. Braywick Leisure Centre will be open from 6am to 10 am and will re-open from 2pm to 8pm.
Windsor Leisure Centre will be open from 6am to 10:30am and will close in the afternoon. All libraries in Windsor will be closed and bin collections will be suspended and make a return on Tuesday.
RBWM has warned that Windsor is "very busy" at the moment, whilst people pay their respects.
