The Cookham Society is looking for a new Membership Secretary to join the committee. Ossie Wardell-Yerbugh who has performed the role for some years, wishes to retire.
The specific role, broadly speaking, involves managing the electronic membership list and working closely with the Treasurer to keep newly recruited and on-going members’ banking details up-to-date. It also means becoming a committee member and trustee, attending seven general committee meetings a year and one AGM in March.
Do you have a couple of spare hours a week? Are you perhaps retired or looking to do something constructive in the local community? If so, why not become more closely involved with the Society and help with our important work protecting the Cookhams.
