Trio of comedians among guests at upcoming Cookham event

‘A handful of events’ is planned at Pinder Hall in place of the Cookham Festival which will run again next year.

Following the success of the 2022 Cookham Arts Festival, the festival committee has announced events to keep the community entertained before next year's official 2024 Cookham Festival.

Dave Chawner returns to host Comedy Night at Pinder Hall on Thursday, May 11 with three comedians in tow: Alistair Barrie, Suzy Bennett and Marcel Lucont, as seen on the TV.

Literary fans will be pleased to see the talks that are scheduled for April - on Bletchley Park code breaking; Pre-Raphaelite, Elizabeth Siddal; and evacuees during the blitz.
