In view of the forthcoming elections, one sincerely hopes that the incoming councillors will pay heed to ALL the potholes that have appeared on the Boroughs roads  over the course of the winter - some of which gives one a peephole down to Australia.
Particularly on the left bend approaching Cookham over Cookham Bridge - a drain has sunk so deep into the road that cars have swerved into the opposite lane to avoid it - and this is an invitation for a head-on accident to happen at that spot.
I was following a cyclist the other day when he suddenly veered into the road in an effort to avoid a pothole in Cookham.
No fault of the cyclist as upon investigation, we both found the pothole so deep that it would have broken his bike and possibly caused him broken limbs had he ploughed into it - having been covered n rainwater.
So incoming councillors please note - the almost empty Borough purse may yet be shelling out to the public for broken axles and cyclists damages.
Time to spend some of that cash on fixing this problem.
Immediately and as a priority.

I suppose the one thing you can say about the RBWM roads is that they are better than the ones in Bucks which are like farm tracks.
