Emergency services in Berkshire and surrounding areas have joined forces to issue a fresh safety warning following tragic deaths in the water in recent years. As temperatures have begun to soar over the past week, emergency services, local authorities and the Environment Agency will be working together to share how to stay safe by the water.

Thames Valley Police, South Central Ambulance Service, Buckinghamshire and Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Services, Buckinghamshire Council and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead have been working on the project, aimed particularly at young people who often head to the waterside when schools are closed.
