With damaging and unnecessary verge mowing high on the national agenda currently, and insects having to work hard to find nectaring plants, ironic that the stunning wildflower display all along Switch back Road has been destroyed by mowing yesterday!

You would think that RBWM would want to 'save' money, by reducing the 'contract hire' to do such things. This is the perfect time of year to save money by not having to contract out to 'lawn mowers' ! I will do wonder who they employ at RBWM, as they don't seem to 'think'  Roll Eyes

The RBWM employees should be trained to think of the council being a 'company / their company' and how would they be more proficient - one example is by saving cost on mowing and giving wildlife a chance !
