A new temporary short stay car park is set to open this Saturday 14 September in Maidenhead town centre.

40 new spaces, including five disabled bays, will be created on the site of The Landing development on Queen Street and remain until late 2020, at which point additional temporary parking will be located on the site.

The car park will operate on a pay and display basis and be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, allowing a stay of up to 2 hours.

Cllr Andrew Johnson, lead member for infrastructure, transport policy and housing, said: “I am delighted that The Hub have been able to offer this space for temporary parking on The Landing site to ensure that the amount of parking available during the town’s period of regeneration is not affected.”

Access is from Queen Street and as with other car parks in the borough, Advantage Card discounts apply.
