Yesterday the arable area of Widbrook Common was being expanded with chainsaws and heavy machinery at the expense of mature trees and shrubs alongside the White Brook stream. The Cookham Society has contacted the RBWM tree officers. Anyone who has seen the damage and is concerned is encouraged to do the same.

Just had a tree officer go through the yard with a TPO list as long as my arm. Looks like all trees along the Strand and Widbrook are now under Tree Protection Orders. Think you can view exactly what online
