NEXT: SOMETHING TO BE AWARE OF - ONLINE - SEXTORTION !
We have had another case of ‘Sextortion’ - this time in Ascot. 6th October. A resident, met a young woman online. She encouraged him to talk to her privately and then they ‘face-timed’ each other. During those meetings, they both took part in ‘sex acts’. Unknown to him, she was recording, what he was doing. She then threatened to send video footage to his family unless he paid her money.
We have a serious issue at the moment, with young people in school ‘sexting’ and sending indecent images to each other. It apparently a thing, and what they do now. This case involved a grown up !
DON’T LET IT BE YOU !!!!
NEXT - A SCAM WE HAVE HAD BEFORE - MANY TIMES ! - A man walks into premises in Maidenhead, saying that he had an off licence which is closing down and he is willing to sell all the alcohol really cheaply !!! Two members of staff offered to buy it all for £430, WHICH THEY HAND OVER AS CASH ! The man leaves to get the alcohol ………………… but never returns !!!
DON’T LET IT BE YOU !
