Good morning! We here on the Windsor and Maidenhead neighbourhood teams wish you all a happy Halloween. We have been working hard to make sure everyone can have fun and be safe this Halloween.
We have been giving posters for shops to display, informing customers that they retain the right to refuse to sell eggs and flour to under 18s around Halloween, as we believe they belong in cakes and not on doors and windows.
As well as that, we have also sent messages out to schools to pass onto parents with advice for trick or treating and how to keep safe, as well as Police expectations for good behaviour.
If you wish to inform people that you do not want anyone coming to your door this Halloween, we have a poster you can display on your door which can be found at
https://www.thamesvalley.police.uk/SysSiteAssets/media/downloads/thames-valley/campaigns/halloween/no-trick-or-treat-halloween.pdfYour neighbourhood police team will be out and about over the half-term period and Halloween, providing high visibility patrols and will be ready to deal with any associated antisocial behaviour.
We will also be regularly updating our social media accounts with further information across the week. You can follow us on Facebook on TVP Windsor and Maidenhead and on twitter at TVP_Windsor and TVP_Maidenhead.
Remember, if a crime is in progress or you feel your life is in danger, call 999. If you are reporting ASB or a crime that has already happened, call 101 or visit our website at
