If you shop at Asda, you’ll be limited to buying no more than three of any products across all food items, toiletries and cleaning products to ensure availability for everyone online and in stores.

“Whilst we are doing everything we can to maintain the availability of products, we are asking our customers to shop responsibly so that everyone has access to the essentials – so whilst we have placed a limit on certain purchases, we encourage customers to only buy what they need,” Asda said in a statement.

Non-essential services, such as rotisserie and pizza counters, will be temporarily closed this week.

Asda has also confirmed its 24-hour stores will be temporarily closed between midnight and 6am to provide enough time for staff to re-stock and thoroughly clean stores.

In an email sent to customers, Asda has confirmed on 20 March that its larger stores will be open to vulnerable people (and those caring for them) from store opening until 9am.

There’s no confirmation on whether this will continue beyond this Friday.

Asda’s store locator is available here, so you can find out when your local opens.
