The number of coronavirus cases in Berkshire has risen to 2,098 according to figures released by Public Health England today (May 3).
Nationwide, 1,291,591 people have now tested positive for Covid-19 and 28,734 have tragically died, an increase of 288 fatalities over 24 hours.
In Berkshire, there are now 2,098 lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus - up by 35 over the last 24 hours.
Reading, Berkshire, has the highest number of recorded cases in the county, with 501 patients testing positive.
Slough now has 401 cases.
Elsewhere, 333 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in West Berkshire, 386 in Wokingham, 259 in Windsor and Maidenhead, and 218 in Bracknell.
