There has been one further case of coronavirus in Berkshire, according to NHS England figures released today (June 30).

But no new deaths have been confirmed in the past 24 hours in the county.

The one case has been recorded in Reading.

UK-wide deaths related to Covid-19 now stand at 43,730, an increase of 155.

There have been 312,654 confirmed cases across the country, 689 more than yesterday.

Data released each day represents the number of deaths recorded in this time period, not those that have actually happened in that time.

Cases in the county where people have tested positive for coronavirus stand at 2,479.

Reading still has the highest number of cases in Berkshire, with 597 patients testing positive.
West Berkshire's cases have also remained the same at 385, while Wokingham's stay at 458.

To date, 312 people have tested positive in Windsor and Maidenhead, no change from yesterday.

No new deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours, with the last recorded death in Berkshire announced on June 20.

A breakdown of figures for each trust is below:

The latest figures in Berkshire

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust – 360
Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust – 186
Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust - 20
It is important to note Frimley Health runs sites outside of Berkshire, for example Frimley Hospital in Surrey, so it is hard to get an accurate figure for the exact amount of deaths in Berkshire alone.
