Your note regarding Investment / Share scams, refers to reporting to the FSA (Financial Services Authority) but this organisation was split in 2012 into a successor regulator FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) and the Bank of England PRA.
So any reference should be to FCA.
https://www.fca.org.uk/ I think the message is, nobody should be “cold calling“ you, as this is not permitted under FSM Act 2000 (Financial Services Market Act) so - if they do - just put the telephone down.
Alternatively, you could simplify say- ‘can I do this, when I only receive benefits’ ? - that usually works !
If you want to invest, seek out an authorised IFA (Independent Financial Advisor), or even your bank, to provide you with approved advice. You will then have the protection, afforded by the FSCS (Financial Services Compensation Scheme), if you are mis-advised.
Anybody trying to offer you a regulated investment, - MUST - be an authorised firm with FCA registration and can either be a UK incorporated entity, or an EU passported firm, which would have a similar UK registration.
Before entering into any investment activity, the broker, or investment firm would undertake an assessment, to decide your attitude to risk i.e. low, medium or high and would then provide you with a terms of engagement letter and possibly a KFC (key facts document).
Without going through the above process, it is more than likely, somebody is trying to scam you so - Do Not even engage in any conversation. You may give them personal information.
Remember the motto “if is something appears too good to be true it is”

We are very excited to share with you some of our FREE online training accessible in the comfort of your own homes and offices!
This includes Advanced Zoom Training (Tuesday 11th August) and Keeping Vulnerable Adults and Children Safe - Safeguarding Training (Wednesday 11th August) for this coming month and Social Enterprise Training, Happiness Matters, Volunteer Management Training for September 2020. This will be shared across Slough, Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead community and voluntary groups.
All training is FREE and at no cost to WAM voluntary groups - however we do pay a good rate to our trainers, so if you are unable to attend, please do let us know, so that we can give your place to a reserved member.
If you have any suggestions for training your voluntary group particularly requires please get in touch and we will see what we can arrange without any costs involved. Equally if you are able to train others in specialist areas using zoom get in touch. We want to ensure we support our WAM community trainers wherever possible.

HMRC during an operation, saw the hand over of a white coloured Ford Transit. 8 men were arrested by HMRC following an operation and found to be in possession of illegally obtain cigarettes with non paid duty.
CRIME I have attached reference numbers to each crime report. If you live in the vicinity of any of the crimes mentioned and have CCTV or a video doorbell, can you please check the footage. If you have any that might be of interest to the police, can you please make contact with us, quoting reference number given.
