Author Topic: Coronavirus cases rise again in four areas of Berkshire  (Read 1539 times)

There have been four further cases of coronavirus recorded in Berkshire in the past 24 hours, according to figures released by Public Health England today (August 17).

Across the UK, the death toll stands at 41,369 and 319,197 people have now tested positive for Covid-19.


This represents an increase of three and 713 respectively over the same time period.

In Berkshire, the number of positive tests now stands at 3,512.

Four areas of the county recorded a rise of one, while two others - Bracknell Forest and Reading, Berkshire - posted no new positive tests.

This is how they break down of cases for each area of Berkshire:

Reading  : 823 cases  ( no change )
Slough  : 729 cases  (   increase of one )
Wokingham  : 616 cases  ( increase of one )
West Berkshire  : 507 cases  (increase of one)
Windsor  and Maidenhead: 420 cases  (increase of one)
Bracknell Forest  : 397 cases  (  no change  )

The total number of deaths at Berkshire NHS trusts is 573, as detailed below:

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust: 365
Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust: 188
Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust: 20
