Nine more positive coronavirus tests have been recorded in Berkshire in the last 24 hours, according to the latest figures from Public Health England today (August 26).
Reading and Windsor and Maidenhead both saw three new cases, while cases increased by one in Wokingham, West Berkshire and Bracknell Forest.
No new infections were recorded in Slough, which was named as an 'area of concern' by Public Health England last week after an increase in cases and infection rate.
UK-wide, another 16 people have died in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 41,465.
A total of 328,846 people are confirmed to have had the virus since the start of the pandemic, an increase of 1,048 since yesterday.
In Berkshire, the number of positive tests now stands at 3,630.
