Coronavirus area by area breakdown as cases rise again across Berkshire

Another 41 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Berkshire, new data has revealed.

No further deaths have been recorded in hospital trusts in and around Berkshire.

The figures issued on Sunday, September 27 by Public Health England shows a further 5,693 lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK in the last 24 hours.

Overall, 434,969 cases have been confirmed.

A further 17 people have now died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19.

This brings the UK total to 41,988.

This is how the figures break down in terms of cases for each area of Berkshire as of September 27:

Reading : 957 cases (increase of six)
Slough : 938 cases ( increase of 12)
Wokingham : 729 cases (increase of seven)
West Berkshire : 595 cases (increase of six)
Windsor and Maidenhead: 659 cases (increase of five)
Bracknell Forest : 505 cases ( increase of five )

The total number of deaths at NHS trusts in and around Berkshire is now 579, as detailed below:
