Two more coronavirus-related deaths have been reported in Berkshire in the last 24 hours.

The two deaths were reported at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust - taking the death toll in the county from Covid to 740.


It came as Public Health England revealed there had been a further 163 cases across Berkshire.

Slough recorded the most new cases with 50, while Wokingham was second with 36.


Once again, new cases were confirmed in all parts of the county.

This is how the latest breakdown of cases for each area of Berkshire:

Bracknell Forest    : 1,636 cases    (increase of 25)
Reading    : 2,967 cases    (increase of 31)
Slough    : 4,233 cases    ( increase of 50)
West Berkshire    : 1,755 cases    (increase of 10)
Windsor   and Maidenhead: 2,549 cases    (increase of 11)
Wokingham    : 2,360 cases   (increase of 36)
This is the latest data on the total number of deaths at NHS trusts in and around Berkshire:

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust: 453 (increase of two)
Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust: 264  ( no change )
Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust: 23 (no change)

The Government said a further 189 people had died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19 as of Monday, bringing the UK total to 61,434.

The Government said that, as of 9am on Monday, there had been a further 14,718 lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK.

It brings the total number of cases in the UK to 1,737,960.

Separate figures published by the UK’s statistics agencies for deaths where Covid-19 has been mentioned on the death certificate, together with additional data on deaths that have occurred in recent days, show there have now been 77,000 deaths involving Covid-19 in the UK.
