FIRST:  From RBWM:

Just to make you all aware that the RBWM Budget is currently out for consultation, for more information please see the message below:

We are consulting on our draft budget for the next financial year. There’s still time to include comments in the consultation so we wanted to share how you can get involved.  Please visit
https://rbwmtogether.rbwm.gov.uk/royal-borough-of-windsor-and-maidenhead-2021-22-budget-consultation.

Individually, you may have also received a letter with information about the budget, as we sent out a random sample of letters to residents.

The consultation responses will be reviewed and taken into account when the budget is proposed at Cabinet on Thursday 4 February.

The draft budget sets out how your council tax will be spent and how we invest in services for you.

MEMBERS’ COMMENTS:

Hi Jeff,

Just to let you know.   I just had an automated call from Amazon.  They asked me if I had placed an order for an I Phone..  If not press 1 for yes or 2 to cancel.  I pressed 2 and then a foreign call centre asked me if I had a computer, laptop, tablet or a mobile phone.  I answered no and asked them not to call me as my telephone number was ex-directory.

Meanwhile, I have deleted my payment details from Amazon to be on the safe side.

Thought you would like to know as very worrying for older people especially.

Kind Regards
Suzanne
