The UK Census is taking place on Sunday 21 March 2021. It’s a survey that happens every 10 years and helps to build a picture of all the people and households in England and Wales to help plan and fund public services such as transport, education and healthcare.
There’s simply nothing else that gives so much detail about us and the society we live in. It tells us what our needs are now, and what they’re likely to be in the future.
By taking part and encouraging others to do the same, you’ll help make sure you and your community get the services you need. You’ll soon receive more information about how to take part, with plenty of help for those who need it.
