Snow Warning
«
on:
February 07, 2021, 04:43:13 PM »
Many Cookham residents would have woken up this morning and been left perplexed when they gazed out of their windows to see no snow, despite it being forecast to fall for much of the night.
A yellow weather warning for snow is in place for much of the county until Wednesday (February 10), with the Met Office warning the south-east of England could see heavy snow causing rural communities to be cut off.
Storm Darcy is expected to bring snow to widespread areas in the south-east, as cold air from Russia and Eastern Europe makes its way across the UK over the coming days.
Much of the snow was forecast to fall during the night, but as of yet it appears not a single flake has fallen.
