A FURTHER 112 people have tested positive in Berkshire over the past 24 hours.

Figures from Public Health Berkshire, using Office of National Statistics (ONS) updates, have reported the latest details which takes the county's total to 52,050 positive cases since the pandemic began.

The number of cases across Berkshire relate to areas including Reading, Bracknell, Wokingham, West Berkshire, Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead.

The local breakdown for the past 24 hours as follows:

Reading - 18 cases, total 10,195
Bracknell - 16 cases, total 6,610
Wokingham - 8 cases, total 7,636
West Berkshire - 16 cases, total 5,813
Slough 38, total 14, 001
Windsor and Maidenhead 16, total 7,795

The local seven-day rate of infection per 100,000 people is as per below:

Reading - 176.8 (Compared to 154.5 on Nov 9)
Bracknell Forest - 164.8 (Compared to 102 on Nov 9)
Wokingham -112.8 (Compared to 92.3 on Nov 9)
West Berkshire - 148.3 (Compared to 104.8 on Nov 9)
Slough - 298.2 (Compared to 235.4 on Nov 9)
Windsor and Maidenhead - 132.7 (Compared to 169.7 on Nov 9)

The total number of coronavirus cases recorded across the UK in the past 24 hours is 13,308. This brings the total UK cases to 4,027,106 since the pandemic began.
