Death of Charles Elly

Sadly Judge Charles Elly, who lived in Cookham Dean, died yesterday at Wexham Park hospital. Charles was a very well known resident of Cookham and was very much involved in the activities of the village. In 1994 he became President of the Law Society. He also gave a lot of his time to Cookham Dean church and its activities.
