A yellow weather warning for thunderstorms has been issued across the whole of Berkshire.

The warning, issued by the Met Office, covers all of the county including Reading, Slough and Bracknell Forest from 9.40am on Monday (August 2) and will last until midnight.

The Met Office said: "Heavy showers, torrential downpours and thunderstorms may cause travel disruption and some flooding."

The warning covers most of the south of England, as north as Worcester and even covers parts of Wales, indicating a lot of the country could face some extreme weather today.
