Over the last few weeks, the nation has been enjoying freedom following a tough period of coronavirus restrictions.

Finally we saw all the rules lifted meaning normal life could once again resume.

But while it does feel like life has gone back to life before Covid, the virus is still out there - and it's infecting a lot of people.

In the week leading up to August 1, England's national average infection rate sat at 282.1 per 100,000 people.

During that same time, 23 neighbourhoods across Berkshire recorded infection rates higher than this.

Old Windsor & Wraysbury is the worst affected neighbourhood after it recorded a rate of 467.8 - making it one of the most infected areas in the country as well.

Other areas across Reading, Bracknell and Wokingham saw neighbourhoods also with high rates.
