The M4 eastbound between junctions J8 and J6 . Reason : Roadworks are planned. Status : Pending. Schedule : Expect disruption everyday between 20:00 and 06:00 from
8 September 2021 to 10 September 2021.
Schedule : Expect disruption everyday between 20:00 and 06:00 from
13 September 2021 to 17 September 2021.
Lanes Closed : All lanes will be closed.
M4 closures tonight near Reading and Slough as drivers warned to avoid the area
Drivers face a series of overnight closures on the M4 in Berkshire this week while smart motorway works continue.
There are two closures over the next few nights on the M4 that will cause delays to drivers.
The first closure near Slough will begin at 8pm on Wednesday, September 8 with the road shut both eastbound and westbound between junction 6 and junction 8/9 until 6am on Thursday, September 9.
The same stretch will then close again in both directions, on Thursday, September 9 from 8pm until 6am on Friday, September 10.
There will also be carriageway closures near Reading and the motorway will be closed in both directions between junction 6 for Slough and junction 8/9 for Maidenhead on Wednesday night and Thursday night.
