More than 350 new Covid cases were recorded across Berkshire in the latest update..

There were a further 351 positive tests for the virus in the latest 24 hour recording period, with Reading seeing the biggest rise of 71..

West Berkshire saw the smallest number of new cases, with 40.

Nationwide, a further 43 people had died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19 as of Sunday, bringing the UK total to 136,953.

Separate figures published by the Office for National Statistics show there have been 161,000 deaths registered in the UK where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.

As of 9am on Sunday, there had been a further 30,439 lab-confirmed Covid-19 cases in the UK, the Government said.

Reading: 317.5 (down from 321.6)
Windsor and Maidenhead: 355.6 (down from 366.9)
Slough: 311.5 (down from 322.9)
Bracknell Forest: 312.5 (down from 333.4)
Wokingham: 311.6 (down from 313.9)
West Berkshire: 251.8 (down from 253.1)

This is the latest breakdown of confirmed cases for each area of Berkshire since the start of the pandemic, plus the change in the last 24 hours (in brackets):

Reading: 19,065 (+71)
Windsor and Maidenhead: 15,303 (+66)
Slough: 21,599 (+63)
Bracknell Forest: 12,634 (+44)
Wokingham: 15,691 (+67)
West Berkshire : 12,573 (+40)
