We have received a planning notice from RBWM regarding a new 5G telecoms mast on the corner of Sutton road and Mill Lane.
Hutchison (owners of THREE) are using their telecoms Code powers, which means the council planning department only have 56days to say 'no', otherwise the default answer is 'yes'.
I do not believe that the installation is in keeping with the Cookham plan and should not be permitted due to Appearance, specifically due to:
height of the site in relation to surrounding land
topography of the site and vegetation
openness and visibility of the site
designated area
proximity to residential property
This type of development in our village should be discussed at the planning committee, weighing up the benefits of improved needed mobile reception verses the site and appearance.
Questions: Would the installation be a shared resource for all mobile networks or just THREE?
Unhelpfully the RBWM website has an issue sending emails to new registrations but you can email them
