The Met Office has named two storms set to hit the UK later this week - one of which is set to affect Berkshire.

Storm Dudley is set to batter areas of Northern England and Scotland on Wednesday and Thursday, with a Met Office Amber weather warning issued for areas of the country.

Storm Eunice is due to arrive in the UK on Friday, with widespread winds of up to 60-70mph expected in some areas.

The Met Office has issued a Yellow weather warning for wind that includes Reading, Slough, Bracknell, Newbury and the rest of Berkshire.

That warning is in force from midnight on Friday, February 18, until 9pm.
