FIRST:  We had another black Land Rover Discovery stolen in Ascot:

4/3  Friday 0.30 a.m.  Charters Way.  Black Land Rover Discovery index RV ** POU stolen from the driveway.  Ref. No:  43220096202  If you have one of these regularly stolen cars – think about 3 options – 1. Make sure you keep the car fob in a ‘Faraday Cage’ pouch at all times the car is parked up – or at least more than 30 feet from the pavement.  2. Having a garage install a separate tracking security system that thieves will not know about.  3. Buy an Apple Airtag and hide it in the car.  There are ways to disable the fob from sending out a signal, once you have parked the car, so that it cannot be copied / relayed.  If you don’t know how to do that – contact the dealership.
