I don’t know if you know Jeff Pick of Thames Valley Police? He is the one who keeps us informed of crime in the area on cookham.com and has supported us all in the Maidenhead and Windsor area mainly through Neighbourhood Watch. Thames Valley Police, in their infinite wisdom, have decided that his position is not “essential” after twenty one years dedicated service. I cannot believe it, he has helped me over the years with all sorts of police questions I have had and I am sure many other people will say the same thing. PCC@thamesvalley.police.uk about the seemingly shortsightedness of this mindless decision, I hope others will too. I feel we need that link to the police to help with the ever increasing petty crime that is affecting us all.
