Can you help this weekend - Volunteers needed to dig and clear a small area of weeds to make good for another wildflower patch in The Alfred Major Recreation Ground, have you a few hours to spare on either:
Date: Saturday 29th October 10.30 am
Sunday 30th October Time: 10.30 am

Weeds are flowers in the wrong place.

I do agree, Alfred Major is a difficult place to grow things anyway so why not encourage the weeds. It would be nice to improve the area round the Parade. We did offer to fundraise for this area in the past but I believe bureaucracy took over, perhaps we should try again.
