We are seeking candidates for the position of Centre Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, friendly and dedicated team of paid staff and volunteers. The Centre offers excellent community facilities for the people of Bourne End and its surrounding area.The successful candidate should have the ability to engage with and inspire those around them. They should be able to create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere and have the ability to get things done.
As our Manager you will need to be an excellent communicator and demonstrate clear organisational, administrative and IT skills. We also employ a part-time office assistant and a cleaner/caretaker. Therefore you will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and be able to support and motivate staff and volunteers. Ideally, you will have experience in the voluntary sector.
Role Status: Permanent after 6 months probationary period
Hours: 32.5 per week with occasional evening and weekend work
